Maryland Aggregates Association is a thirty-nine member
trade association serving Maryland's aggregates and
construction materials industry since 1970!

To create an environment within the State of Maryland which is conductive to the continuing long-range utilization of aggregates produced by the members of the Maryland Aggregates Association, Inc.  To promote the production and sale of aggregate products in this marketing region and ensure the economic strength of our industry in the State and region.

Here's how we work for you:

  • Legislative
    full time lobbyist represent the industry in Annapolis before the Maryland General Assembly.

  • Regulatory
    full time representation before state and local regulatory agencies. Responsible for the creation of the Maryland Aggregates Advisory Council which provides valuable liaison with MDE.

  • Transportation Funding
    charter and active member of the MESH Coalition fighting for increased highway and bridge construction.

  • Technical Assistance
    active technical committee which meets with SHA personnel to address industry issues and provides advice to the members.

  • Community Relations
    proactive committee which develops programs for the members to create a positive image for the industry.

  • Operations and Safety
    committee which produces valuable seminars in conjunction with MSHA as a service to the industry.

  • Environmental
    committee which monitors and acts on federal, state and local environmental issues of concern to the industry.
